Stuart Cohen was born in Smithtown, New York, and has lived in South Florida since 1981. Stuart attended the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in 1990. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1993. While attending law school, Stuart was a member of the State and National Trial Teams and won the Book Award in Litigation Skills.
Stuart is a trial lawyer who practices in all areas of civil litigation, including premises and auto liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, products liability, and professional negligence. The focus of his practice with the firm has been large property subrogation matters.
Since his admission to the Bar in 1993, Stuart has litigated and tried cases throughout Florida. He is admitted to practice before all Florida courts and the United States District Courts for both the Southern District and Middle Districts of Florida.
Stuart has been awarded an "AV" rating with Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Stuart resides in Weston along with his wife and two children.
